| 10/22/2004 | It looks good so far almost assembled. Plenty of machine work and a couple custom parts to get this combination to work together. The R&B TM728 Engine crankcase is finned and a touch larger than a stock .21 |
| 10/24/2004 | All assembled and test fired. Looks great in red, didn't think I would like it but I am pleasantly surprised. Time to get this motor a final tune and change up to 30% nitro after it is broke in well. Going to the Track for a big race tomorrow more to come on it's performance and durability. |
| 10/25/2004 | Raced The TMaxx X1R today for the first time. Things went better than expected. This trucks durability seems to be almost race worthy. May have the ability to upgrade to some metal parts to make it tougher and not lose and performance because the R&B TM728 Engine is a radically over powered, I spent the day trying to ease the throttle, changing clutch bells, loosening the slipper. The suspension and setup need a serious tweaking in order for me to be competitive with it. All in all it went well today. Planning on running all 8 races in this series with this truck |
| 2/11/2005 | The Rex Shaft Start System is working well and making the final breaking of the R&B Motor and a little easier on the arm and fingers. I have a few more mods before this race season to get it all race prepped check back soon. |
| 3/20/2005 | Upgraded the steering knuckles with RPM oversized Knuckles w/ oversized bearings. This should make it roll better and the bearings should be more durable and handle the hard landings better. Just need to work on a few more upgrades to the diff's and wheels that should make it race ready for this season. |
