Event Description and Results OOOH and a little commentary
11/3/02

**** A great day. Okay some mechanical trouble after the first heat with the TMaxx 1SB, still did 1st place, Second heat and on was handled by the TMaxx 1RP TQ and an a win in the Main race. Oh and John I officially apologize to you for landing on you over the first table top. OOOPSY...

10/27/02

**** A great day. The TMaxx 1SB finishes first in heats 1 and the Main and TMaxx 1RP took 1st in heats 2 and 3, Great day good competition, chilly but a great day for a win, but then isn't any day.

10/20/02

**** A great day. What a bad start to a great day. Ended up qualifying 2nd to Jim and by 2 laps at that and some truck tuning trouble in all three heats with both the TMaxx 1SB and the TMaxx 1RP, I wound up in a neck and neck race with Jim Greens Mutant TMaxx and barely pulling out the win on the final straight with a drag race and him finishing 2nd place 4 tenths of a second behind me. Best Race I seen in a long time if ever and the best race I have ever been driving in.

10/12/02

**** A great day. We raised 500 dollars for cancer. I Placed first and won a trophy in the concourse  with the XXX-NT, I placed second in the A-main with the TMaxx's ( it did take the 1RB TMaxx to finish the job after the 1RP TMaxx broke and ate a throttle linkage after a hack driver and I had a Mad Max style qualifier) and 3rd in the A-Main with the XXX-NT also took a second place in the TMaxx king of the hill race. battery people are whiners.

10/6/02

**** A little windy today and a first place in the 1st and 3rd qualifiers and a second in the second qualifier. Of Course a win in the TMaxx class. The R/C gods have smiled on me for several weeks now. Out of 6 entries I lapped everyone except one truck twice. The TMaxx 1RP did the job.

10/5/02

*** Indooor tight course lots of mechanical work to maintain the TMaxx but Winning the A-Main was well worth it. The TMaxx 1RP did the job.

9/22/02

**** What a gloomy day, very cool out too. The TMaxx 1RP gave me two great qualifiers leaving me Top Qualifier for the TMaxx class. The TMaxx 1RB Gave me a win in the TMaxx class. Both trucks ran great but the setup on the Blue twin was better for the track today. I finished a complete lap ahead of the entire field today. Although the first 3 laps where a good race with Glenn. Cody kept crashing behind me trying to play catch up and the traffic got to everyone but myself. The XXX-NT flamed out in the first heat and did a solid second place in the second heat. But a third place for the stadium truck seemed to be it's place. I think the rear diff needs adjustment I was pulling hard left during heavy acceleration. Brandon and Brian had a great race to the finish where in the last corner Brandon took away Brian's lane and an incident caused Brian to use the pipe and infield to place second just inches behind the  aggressive green boy. Clearly one of the best Days I've had.

9/15/02

**** What a gloomy day, the TMaxx never made it this week, again. The XXX-NT ran great all three heats giving me Top Qualifier. then the rain came and the Main was cancelled. I won by just being the TQ. I would have had my hands full Dwaine was running real well in the 3rd qualifier.

9/11/02

**** The TMaxx just wasn't up to it. It ran great in 2 practice sessions, then a 4th place in the first qualifier then flameout in the 2nd heat making me 5th there. Started 6th in the main or I was suppose to the motor seems to have expired when it was over heated while tuning before the main.

9/8/02

**** Not as hot or humid as last week but similar tuning problems for the XXX-NT the TMaxx was left home in Preparation for the TMaxx invitational

9/1/02

**** Extremely hot and humid, both ran great in the first heat, the XXX-NT got TQ from the first heat and never ran after that oh a couple laps here and there but 3DNF's after the first heat. the TMaxx did well but the same type of mechanical tuning nightmare. this is by far the worst day in R/C Racing I have ever had. Time for some changes

8/25/02

**** TMaxx Ran great in all day, 3rd, 3rd and 4th in those Qualifiers and a 2nd place in the TMaxx Main. Didn't get to run the XXX-NT. Congratulations to Dwain for taking the TMaxx Main win Oh and the Nitro Stadium truck win also. No Glen didn't beat me by 10 feet for second place/ finally

8/18/02

**** TMaxx Places consistently 3rd, 3rd, 4th and third in the final missed 2nd place by 10 feet. Truck ran great. Brandon Green took Second Place in the stadium truck class, and Glenn Lee got the win in that class Great job Glenn, Brandon, Next week your mine..

8/11/02

****3rd in the First Heat with the TMaxx, 3rd in the 2nd Heat and 3rd in the 3rd heat, 3rd in the A Main, the steering arm lost the connection with the inner steering setup was almost in the winners circle but the old gal let me down on the last lap while in second place stalking the dieing EMaxx. The truck ran great in every race, a little sluggish till up to temp but it was OS motor kind of a  day.

8/4/02

****Weather was iffy then became hot and humid, Hence the tuning nightmare. Not a bad day at all, the Racing TMaxx did 1st in the first heat, 2nd in the 2nd heat, 2nd in the third heat after actually stalling on the last lap. and worst but not the first time the Main race I started 2nd overall and was in the lead on the second lap when the motor died, finished 5th of 5 after a kind crew member from another team restarted my truck/ for the last lap. No biggie would have taken it but the glow plug/ new head fumbled me up. I plan extensive testing this week and next week will be much better.

6/2/02

Big Race in Lansing left not enough competitors to race at Larry's this Sunday. I did some some needed testing and practice on a very complicated course, on top of it how an indoor off-road course got so muddy I'll never know. 4 1/2 foot table top, another 4 foot jump, tight corners and one row of large moggles, and another row of medium moggles. happy not to break anything.

5/27/02

Flint Michigan, Riders Hobby's Novice road course, What a great day for Racing. Although this was a new event with new operators it went okay, I disagree with the type of transponder (used on board power for transponder signal) and electronic race results, all in all a good day. The scoring says 4th place for the Nitro 4-Tec and 3rd for the TMaxx in the A-Mains. The way we saw it was 3rd with the 4-Tec and 2nd for the TMaxx. The TMaxx suffered some mechanical failure in the main and also the battery loss was so incredible by this point steering was limited. The Traxxas Nitro 4-Tec ran great in the Main and my driving was the deciding factor, my first time with that car and a road course

5/19/02

*Again, the signal Snaggers are in short order to run this event. Ran TMaxx in 2 heats, second place in both, mechanical failure during both heats for the Nitro 4-Tec, Just not my day. Most racers here are BEGINNERS, they are allowed to violate racing and impound rules. Announcers often hold races for late starters. Marshals often slow and inattentive and very bias. Certain drivers are allowed to pit there own cars with help of Marshals. Several associates of mine and I have decided to seek a more professional Racing environment for Sunday racing. Check back next week to see where we end up.

5/12/02

*Mother's Day: Rained out.

5/5/02 *WOW, The TMaxx was the only vehicle I had time to run, I announced and ran the scoring and the whole Event, with some help from a few signal Snaggers club members and there equipment. We ran 4 classes, 2 heats and a main and all went smooth after a couple first round snafu's and my inability to master the scoring software fast enough. All I wanted to do is race, the TMaxx took 2nd in both heats but once again mechanical failure (Exhaust) AGAIN kept me from the main
4/28/02 *Rained out.    :(
4/21/02 *Bad weather but a fair turnout, TMaxx Placed 2nd in both heats but mechanical failure kept it from the Main.
4/14/02 *Awesome weather, small turnout, only 2 other TMaxx's and one broke in practice, not enough to run the class. I did Run the Modified Nitro 4Tec and placed 3rd of 5 racers overall.
4/7/02 *What a great way to start the season. With the new suspension moods I ran 2 qualifiers,Wins in both, the first was 28 laps, the second I did 29 laps. I qualified first in the A Main, Ran 30 laps and won it too. I placed first of 9 Drivers, what an awesome day. Cold but well worth it.
3/17/02 ***Well all I really want to say is I had a blast and it ran so great I couldn't control it. I finished 12 of 18 racers and had a final (B Main) where I completed only one lap but finished third of 9 racers and a second heat that I only completed one lap and finished 5th of 5 racers the first and third heats netted me 4th place with 9 laps each, not one of my better days but the trucks mechanical condition and running status were awesome. It ran with way to much torque and off the line power the new posi rear unit made it fishtail and wheelie. Maybe I will be able to drive someday.
2/24/02 ***Decent day, the first heat was a win with 2 laps on the 2nd place finisher. Excellent run. 2nd heat gets a second place by 15 seconds, the rear pinion is missing teeth. Third heat was a third place on front wheel drive rear pinion wont hook up until mid throttle. Against my better judgement I felt I didn't have enough time to change the rear diff in time for the main. C main gets a third place. Rear diff is stripped only front drive the entire race. Not bad for a one eyed driver and an old broken down TMaxx. See you next Sunday Fools.
2/17/02 Sorry Folks, Medically unable to make it to the track
2/10/02 ***What a great day for the TMaxx, 2nd in the first heat, 2nd in the 2nd heat, 2nd in the third heat, and 5 th in the B main, oh well the truck so well I could barely control it in the 3rd heat and main races. The Mega-tech purple motor was working good today. Photos of racing on Photo Page It will be hard to wait 2 more weeks to race with a truck that is running so good.
2/3/02 ***A good day for the beat down TMaxx, 3rd place of 7 in the first 3 heats. A 3rd Place in The B-Main, resulting in a 10th Place of 18 racers. Oh and very few broken parts this time.
1/27/02 ***TMaxx, What a day at the track. The first time I have visited this indoor off-road track and because of a rude racer and some freq. clips missing I was unable to get in one warm-up or practice lap prior to the first heat. The first heat was a 7 minute lesson in what not to do on a hard dirt packed track. Last place. The 2nd heat was a  7 minute lesson in setup and a better job on scouting. Last place. The third heat was a little better but still had no setup time finished 5th of 6 and broke a rear turnbuckle and bent the other. In the B-Main was a 10 minute fun drive on a tight slick course designed for buggies. Didn't get my final results but it wasn't last.
