Created from an OFNA 9.5 MBX Team edition 1/8th scale buggy. I am currently breaking in the motor. Getting all the little things in order to be able to race this Monster MBX.

Well the first day of this newly created monster truck was it's last
Yes it acted horribly, I had tested it a couple times and although it ran fairly well and handled great but it jumped real bad. too much of the weight over the rear and a poor center of gravity made it fly to the stars and unable to correct with the goofy breaking system. I added the weight system to try to help the attitude in flight but a nearly noticeable improvement. the stock steering servo failed after only 10 tanks thru the MBX from brand new. Then in two more instances the servo arms stripped out. Not a good start to this racing season. This evening I totally disassembled it and started laughing and taunting it while it was in pieces on the table.

After a good cleaning of all the pieces that equal this buggy/truck, I decided it was back to a buggy for this one that the gearing and pain in the ass it started out as was not going to get me and I needed a good buggy anyway. So it has been converted back to a 9.5 MBX buggy. A clean one at that.

So here we are the end of the Monster MBX, All I can say was it sounded like a good idea and looked great and sounded great just was not the dependable race truck I was looking for. So my search for a competitive 1/8 scale truck continues. So as of today I now have 2, 1/8th scale buggies. I truly hope this works and is more reliable than it was as a truggy
