| April 11th, 2004 | Okay the miles are adding up fast, the second oil change was 2 weeks ago and the odometer now reads 6800 miles. The mileage still is not good but it runs fine on 87 octane gasoline, I found higher octane gasoline causes worse gas mileage. Still looks brand new and runs and drives like brand new. The XM radio has been unreliable but under warranty and still well worth the hassle to replace the vehicle antenna, cradle and modulator once. Still haven't tried to go fast or race it. Just a nice driving get around vehicle. |
| January 30th, 2004 | Home from a long road trip through, bad weather and Ohio. Columbus was fun. If your into dodging the Highway sniper. the snow got deep on the first night there, so of course an abandon Lowe's store parking lot made for a nice donut testing area. the little truck does awesome donuts in about 8 inches of snow. it also handles and gets good traction in the same driving condition. the mileage could be better and I haven't really tested it's speed performance but it seems minimal to slow. Plenty of room for all the R/C gear and the XM radio is awesome, More to come soon. Oh now up to 800 miles. |
| January 22nd, 2004 | Okay I like this truck, It looks good it handles great. I had XM radio installed today. That too is everything it's suppose to be and better. It now has 55 miles on it and I am ready for a weekend trip to Columbus, Ohio. I hope the gas mileage improves after break in period. |
| January 19th, 2004 | Picked it up at 5pm, It was late because I made them remove the Heat Emblem and Flames that originally where on this truck, it was called the Heat Edition. I look way cool in it. |
